Four set-apart days of marriage enrichment, self-care, rest, and renewal for ministers and their spouses with Resident Retreat Coordinators, Bereel and Oreen.
Retreat Overview
Day 1 – Arrival & Unwinding
Day One is all about arriving, slowing down, and transitioning from the busyness of daily life into a calm, restful space of connection.
You’ll have the afternoon to settle in and explore the beautiful grounds and surrounding area together. After a delicious afternoon tea, Bereel and Oreen will host a welcome and orientation session for all couples.
In the evening, enjoy a romantic private dinner prepared just for you. After dinner, there will be light and fun couple activities, giving you the chance to connect with other couples—or you can choose to unwind quietly with stargazing or relax by the fireplace with a cup of hot chocolate.
Days 2 & 3 – Connection & Growth
Each morning begins with a private breakfast that you and your spouse can prepare and enjoy together while taking in the beautiful sunrise.
The day continues with a guided session led by Bereel and Oreen, focusing on key relationship topics. Across these two days, we will cover two important areas designed to strengthen and deepen your connection.
After each session, couples will have time to reflect and discuss together.
Afternoons are intentionally free for you to:
Rest and recharge
Spend quality time reconnecting
Explore the surroundings or enjoy nature walks
Visit local cafés (approximately a 25-minute walk)
We’re also happy to provide group transport to the café if preferred (no charge for transport; café purchases are at your own cost).
Evenings conclude with dinner and relaxed time together.
Day 4 – Closing & Departure
Our final day is short but meaningful. We’ll gather for a special closing session to reflect on the experience and wrap up our time together.
The retreat concludes after lunch, and couples are free to depart from 2:00 PM onwards.
Special Focus: Pastors & Spouses Marriage and Wellbeing Retreat
This retreat carries a special focus on the well being of pastors and their spouses, with an emphasis on strengthening marriage and supporting holistic health.
Facilitators Bereel and Oreen bring personal insight, having experienced burnout in pastoral ministry and the pressures that can take a toll on the most important relationship, marriage. They lead with empathy, openness, and honesty, sharing from their own journey.
Through guided sessions and intentional conversations, they aim to encourage and equip couples in ministry with practical tools and perspectives that will enrich and sustain their relationship for years to come.
