Bag making workshop

Join sustainable textile artist and Te Waiora House Retreat Coordinator, Oreen Lingaiyya, for a beginner-friendly, fully guided slow stitching workshop.

Learn how to transform old jeans into a beautifully embellished, one-of-a-kind bag. No experience needed. This relaxed, creative day is perfect for slowing down and enjoying the rhythm of autumn.

Bring a couple of old pairs of jeans and a cotton shirt for lining (or purchase materials on the day). All tools, embellishments, instructions, and morning tea are provided. Suitable for ages 13+. Spaces are limited, so be sure to secure your spot and enjoy a meaningful, hands-on creative experience.

$75 per person. Includes morning tea and embellishments for your bag.
